2008 UPA Powerlifting &
Bench Press Nationals
Welcome to the 2008 UPA National Championships web page.  Here you will find any
information you will need in regards to the National Powerlifting and Bench Press
Championships being held in Columbus, Ohio on April 19-20, 2008.



Meet Location:

Aladdin Shrine Center
3850 Stelzer Rd.

The meet site provides 11,440 sq ft of space
in the main room and 3000 sq ft in the warm up area.

Free round trip transportation to and from Port Columbus International Airport is provide by the hotel.
Free shuttle service to anywhere within a 5 mile radius of the hotel (this includes the meet site which
is less than 1/2 mile from the hotel)

The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast as well as an indoor pool and workout facility.  It is
conveniently located less than 1/2 mile from Easton Town Center where you will find over 20
restaurants, movie theatre, shopping, and nightlife.

There are no qualifying totals this year for the women's, teen, or master's divisions.  The Bench only
division is open to all competitors.

Miscellaneous:

- You will be permitted to play your own music but it must be a clean version and you must bring this
with you to the weigh in

- Entry deadline is April 5, 2008
